Even if you cannot see it, yourself, relatives or friends may be happy to
watch it & explain it to you. You may wish to take it along to your
club for others to view or pass it on to any organisation which does staff awareness training.
Such actions will help us all to get a better understanding from others as to what support blind people need.
The DVD Video "Insight into Coping with Sight Loss" was produced by Hampshire Advocacy User Group For the Blind & Partially Sighted and can now also be viewed by your Family members and friends if they have Broa dband Internet.
If they go to Google Video search engine and type "sight loss" they

CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE
HAUGBPS have reason to
celebrate 2006.
We marked the tenth anniversary of being registered as a charity by arranging for one of our members to sail on the tall ship TENACIOUS
In addition, we saw the completion of the trainingof an in home' computer course trainer and have to thank the many companies and individuals who donated funds to the expensive training course undertaken so successfully by Elizabeth- a big thank you to them all. As you may be aware, we do not receive any funding from government bodies. We raise our money by our own efforts. This maintains our independence and ensures that we can do things that are outside the remit of some other charities.
In 2007 we hope to extend our`in home' IT training programme. Acquiring the funding is a major time consuming task but we will you informed of progress.
The committee send you their best wishes for an enjoyable festive season.
Presenter's Eyes Help others To See
